I like both. The beach is surely incomparable, but the sand and jellyfish always get to me. With the swimming pool, there's no salt, there are practice lanes, diving boards and shower rooms. Ha, ha.I like having picnics on the side, during splash outings. What about you?
| | | | Awesome day at the swimming pool - great kids, great food great friends | | I had such a great day with the kids at the pool. I did not have to "count" once, they were great and even better news is that my Douglas is swimming, as in going underwater, kicking, moving his arms swimming, no support from water wings. he did such a great job. We were there most the day. We got there at 11:00 and got home at 3:00 I am so proud of my kids. Even during life guard break, ten to the hour on every hour, they were great, no complaints, no winning, nothing..
I love 1 2 3 magic.. it really does work.
| | The Swimming Pool Is Closed!!! | | Well, this is just great! Yesterday I planned to use the swimming pool here at my condo complex and there were already 5 people using it for around 4 hours. Then when they were finished it started raining within 10 minutes of them finishing. That is how the weather goes here in South Florida.Well, anyways today I planned to go out to the pool before my kids got home from school and before it started raining in the afternoon. I saw our Association President out there speaking with a man and they were walking around the pool. Now there is a sign out there from the County Health Department stating that the "pool is closed and not in compliance with the Florida Administrative Code and may endanger the health, safety, and welfare of persons using this facility."[em]angry[/em]Upon looking at the pool there are a bunch of leaves in it so who knows what all is in the water, etc. It just irks me that it is down and the kids are all out of school next week. I sure do hope that they fix the situation so we can all enjoy our nice pool. I sure do know that when my kids get home and see this sign they are going to be sad.[em]blink[/em]Have a nice day... | |
| | | where would you rather swim: beach or swimming pool? | | the beach... i feel like the waves will cover my body and i will drown so i'd rather swim in a swimming pool. usually on the kiddie pool area though. i know how to swim but i am not good at it so i am afraid to go to deeper parts where my feet won't touch the floor.
how about you mylotters?
