| | First Lady Obama Wears Shorts....So What?! | | I had to laugh this afternoon when I saw the front page headlline on MSN.com "Michelle Obama's Shorts Controversy". Seriously?! Does our country have nothing better to report on then what Michelle is wearing? Don't get me wrong...I love the Obama family and sometimes she has incredible fashion sense that should be shown off. However, in this instance, she is a mom on vacation with her husband and kids in the hot Arizona desert to see the Grand Canyon. What do you want her to wear a dress, heels and pantyhose?! Is the media insane?! The last thing Michelle Obama needs is fashion advice from the media and frankly kudos to her for not being afraid to show off her body. Here's to the First Lady! | | I bought size 10 shorts and hung them above the bed. | | I'm such a romantic. My hubby called a few guys from the mental institute but when I explained they went away. Good thing they didn't stick around because there are plenty of other good reasons to take me away.Back to the shorts. I don't wear size 10. I am not huge, but I'm I am not thin. I'm perfectly average in every way. (other then my face and neck which sit on the ugly side... but I'm ok with that)I've been trying to lose a bit to get down to where the doctor says I should be... about 15-20 pounds. And I know the new meds will help me GAIN. And I'm up for diabetes. So... I'm trying to lose a few numbers from my jean size.I hung them on the wall so I would remember that I'm trying to eat better, keep the weight down, and get moving a bit more.What ways do you remind or motivate yourself to lose that weight or those jean sizes? | |
