| Misty May Treanor | | If you're watching Dancing With the Stars this season, then you should already know that the Olympic women's beach volleyball champion Misty May Treanor suffered an injury during a rehearsal for the show. On Friday she ruptured her achilles tendon. This is a pretty nasty injury. I know a person who this happened to and they were in bed rest for quite some time while it healed. Luckily Misty was already planning on taking a break from volleyball so this is not going to interrupt her career. But unfortunatly she did have to drop out of the Dancing with the Stars competition.Did you see this week's episode where they showed her injury? What were your reactions to it? | |

| | Boom Boom Volleyball | | Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a bind and I need help. I need to write about Boom Boom Volleyball and it's the first time I've heard of it. I'v done my preliminary research and found out that it's a flash game with two really sexy women playing beach volleyball with a bomb (hence boom boom, i think)Thing is, I need to find cheat codes and passwords, and they don't exactly turn up easily using a google search. | | Checking In - What Have You Been Up To? | | This summer has been filled with ups and downs. Family, friends, work, and life in general have kept me quite busy. I have been enjoying the sun when it doesn't rain that is. When I get out of work I can be found curled up on the chaise lounge with a book in hand. Reading has become a favorite pastime for me. Watching the Olympics has kept me busy in the evenings these past two weeks. Michael Phelps was awesome! Many of the events kept me glued to my seat. Gymnastics, swimming, diving and beach volleyball have been my favorites. I was elated to find that the USA won the gold for beach volleyball. I had hoped to watch it, but it was on way too late for me.Birthdays and family get togethers have kept me busy. We have the grandkids over at least once or twice a week. When the weather permits we have a blast outside. The kids love to run around the yard and play. If it rains we go inside and bring out the building blocks. They enjoy working with the blocks. Opa can be found playing along side them!I keep running into my people who were clients of mine when I worked as a mastectomy fitter. They tell me that they miss me terribly. | Winter Olympics vs. Summer Olympics | | I'm pretty sure I've seen a discussion about this not too long ago, but I'm not certain what all it was about. So pardon me if I'm repeating someone else's discussion. First, I'd like to know which kind you like better? Or does it just depend where they are located? What are your favorite summer sports to watch in the Olympics, and what are your favorite winter sports to watch in the Olympics?And those of you who do not like watching any Olympics, would you tell me why?
