| how creative can you be | | it is easy to find things to do with small kids cause they are easy entertained lol. i have kids that are 10 and 12 not so easy anymore. not to mention most of us i am sure dont have alot of money to spend on thigns to do. well we like doing things as a family and we love doing outside stuff. we go fishing all the time, camping, etc. we have a trampoline, swimming pool, volleyball, bocca, tetherball, horseshoes, crocket, and stuff liek that. we get the stuff to do as a family but it cost money. we have to really save to be able to get these things. i am looking for new ideas to do with them. we have flooded the yard and done the mud fight that was fun lol. we filed water balloons and put them in the trampoline we have a net. how creative are you at coming up with things for the family to do that doesnt cost money. lets hear some of those ideas and maybe it will help others and me to have family fun. | |

for me i prefer in a beach because i could experience the bouncing of the waves and i can go as far as i can because it is not limited in area. how about you? | |
| | Have you ever urinated in swimming pool? | | I have urniated in a swimming pool when I was younger and didn't even think about it. Now that I know it not good to do things I don't do it. It is gross. I am sure people do it all the time and don't care. When we swim wheater we want to belive it or not we are swimming in other people urine. This something we cannot control. Most of time the chemicals in the water kill the bad bacteria in the water. That's why most people don't care about swimming in it. The water looks clear in the pool but really just not clean at all. Swimming fun and good excersize. I'll still swim in a pool. | |

| Have you visited the swimming pool? | | It is a common talk about going to the swimming pool.it is ay if there are swimming pools nearby then we may have to the pools present far away or not go at all for a long time. i once lived ina tow which has a well managed swimming pool.i usedd ot go there and pay an annual fee to earn swimming.and there were not basic dress available for me.so i abandoned the plan. i feel we can use the pool for any purposes like practising the very dangerous and difficult gymnastic routines .the water in the pool can act as a safe buffer or shock absorber and prevent us from getting injured. obviously it is not easy to swim in the cold winter months.swimming seems to be a safe and better exercise compared to other activities like running. we can get used to breathing under water gradually. | |

| | Need Help on Algae in my Swimming Pool!! | | When I got up this morning I discovered that my back yard swimming pool had turned green. That is the beginning of algea growth. Fortunately it hasnt got to the stage where aglea growth has adheared to the sides and walls, its simply floating around the water.I know its my fault. I had noticed that the alkalinity was very low a few days ago. I had kept the chlorine level up, although that fell over the past 2 days, & the PH is low too.I just raced outside then & put a heap of chlorine in. I know that is not enough. Would just buying alkalinity increaser be enough to kill off the algea? Or would I need to buy algaecide as well? Or a PH increaser? Or all three?
I do need to keep my costs as low as possible, but on the other hand, if I dont treat it early, it will be more expensive to clear up.Hope there are My Lotters out there who know about pool maintenance.Thanks. | |
