| We are trying to plant every possible inch of ground we have to bring the cost of food down later in the year. Probably would have done it this way this year anyway. I hate cutting lawn all the time. We still have lots of lawn. Can't really grow a garden on our septic bed. Might destabilize it. Also have room for a playground for the kids with a full outdoor volleyball court. Rest of it is supposed to eventually be turned to agricultural use. Not doing bad for a little less than two acres. Wasn't much of a hobby farm when we moved in but it is really coming along. Sorry to ramble. |
