| | The host country for 2008 isnt representing itself well! I feel for the people. | | I feel so bad for the people of China. We must remember that China isnt a democracy. Some say they're communist. Some say it's a dictatorship. I think they're both correct. However, my heart goes out to the Chinese people. They dont have much of a say in the decisions their government makes. Protesting isnt an option for them. If I was the government of China, I would be doing my best to find a way to try and turn all the bad publicity around. Lets sum it up: Two hours after the opening ceremonies the family of the 2004 olympic volleyball champions were attacked and one killed. Security was supposed to be unpenetrateable. Then the issue of the little girl who performed was actually lip syncing because the real singer was NOT CUTE ENOUGH. Then the Chinese female gymnasts are said to be underage. It is suggested that China falsified documents to have these girls perform. It is hard to prove. Also Chinese athletes have admitted to taking substances to enhance their performances and their medals were removed. Come one what a mess!
